Fashion Happens in Omaha, NE

T'eez Salon owner Thomas Sena and team prepping models for an Omaha World Herald photo shoot.
Saturday morning hair magic happening...
Headband time...
Just a tease... I can't show you the actual garment, but watch the Omaha World Herald for the photo spread and article.
I am off to get a last day of sewing in before heading to NYC tomorrow for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  Fittings all week! Show on Friday September 10, 8 PM at the Lincoln Center.  See the schedule here.  Tune in to a live stream from the Academy of Art University website. If you missed the May 2010 BFA Graduation Fashion Show in San Francisco you can watch it here. You can see all of the crazyyy talented designers that I graduated with!

  1. Hi Emma--

I work as a DJ and editorial staff member for BreakThru Radio, an online station based in NYC. I host a weekly fashion-focused interview show called Sew & Tell, and am wondering if you might be interested in being my guest for one of the shows. Our station is dedicated to uncovering the independent, innovative, up-and-coming artists and entrepreneurs in music, fashion, literature, etc., and I think your work and debut at this year's Fall Fashion Week would make a great feature!

Here's a sample link to last week's show, when my guest was Christian Joy, who designs for the Yeah Yeah Yeah's Karen O.:

I usually conduct my interviews via Skype (if you don't have an account, I can easily call a land or cell line through Skype as well), and they don't take much longer than half an hour or so. Ideally, I'd like to feature you as the guest for fashion week, and so would love to schedule something for this week. I know this is extremely short notice, though, so if your calendar can't accommodate that I completely understand.

If this is something you'd be interested in, either for this week or later, please contact me at your convenience and we can set something up!

    Thanks so much,
    Britt Sondreal

*Apologies for posting this as a comment--wasn't sure how else to contact you.

  2. Thank you, Britt. So excited to know about your show and have an opportunity to be a part of it.
