Nan C.'s Fall / Winter 2012 Ad Campaign - Wearing Lida Baday

Here are modeling photos I did for an Omaha boutique called Nan C. for their Fall / Winter 2012 ad campaign.  They specialize in European and North American collections.  This dress is by Lida Baday, a Canadian designer that uses the most beautiful European fabrics and does all of their production in Canada.  The shoot was styled by Julie Adams of Morretta Designs and photographed by Daniel Muller of The Mullers.  Hair is by Natalie Rose Dixon (I did a post about her here) of Fur and makeup is by Tristan Sonnerfeld of Rain Salon.

This Trapeze Dress is made out of Ice organic cotton / silk drill suede.  It features racer back cut, side pockets and and invisible zip back. The hem is an inch longer in the back.  It is fully lined with silky rayon lining.

September Studio / Home

Here are some photos of what my studio / home looked like during the month of September. Some machine maintenance has been happening in the kitchen.  I have also carried many boxes of thread and 60lb sewing machine heads up and down three flights of creaky 127 year old stairs and I still don't think I can do a proper push-up.  Someday this needs to change.

Thread.
Drawers, rabbit punch.
Parts manual for Willcox and Gibbs 500/IV five thread overlock.
Yamato Z610 in my kitchen.
